Brenda Mumma Recovering Brenda Mumma, wife of eastern zone director John Mumma, had a growth/tumor in one kidney. The kidney was removed on Friday, April 11, 2008. Prognosis looks good and Brenda is now home looking at a 6 to 8 week recovery period. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Mumma family. 2007 ITPA Annual Meeting
& Awards Banquet The Illinois Tractor Pulling Association held their Annual Meeting and Awards Banquet on Saturday, December 8, 2007 at the Crowne Plaza in Springfield, Illinois. Over 450 pullers, pulling families, sponsors, promoters and guests were in attendance to honor the 2007 ITPA class winners/special award recipients as well as to celebrate ITPA's 40th Anniversary. 2008 Changes from October Board Meeting The 9700# Super Stock class will run with the 10,000# Pro Stock class for the 2008 pulling season. Each division will weigh their designated weight.
Limited Pro Stock class will added for the 2008 season.
1. Weight will be 8200 lbs.
2. 466 cubic inches
3. No inter/after coolers
4. 3 X 4 smooth turbocharger
5. Engine head must be OEM agricultural-type for that brand engine.
6. Diesel fuel only.
