\n<\/strong><\/span><\/span>Change part of rule #9. B. under Mini Rod Tractors to read:\u00a0\u00a0(no turbochargers or Pro Chargers allowed).
\n<\/strong>Allow a 1 year variance for 8-71 supercharger on engine with 23 degree heads with overdrive limited to zero on hi-helix and 7% on standard rotors.\u00a0 Allow billet aluminum heads on the 4BT.\u00a0 Allow turbine engines T 53, L-1 thru L-11 with water, L-13 and L-701 no water.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

All turbocharged vehicles with the air inlet on the turbocharger not in the engine compartment (under the hood, behind the side shields and behind the grill) must have a cross in front of the compressor wheel.\u00a0 Cover (3\/8″ star pattern of billet) will be V-banded between air shut off and compressor cover.<\/span><\/p>\n

New turbocharger rule\u00a0(no “Boat Prop” type turbochargers allowed).
\n<\/strong>Bore Dimensions:\u00a0 All air must pass through a perfectly round, diameter bore, with no slots, grooves or irregularities to allow extra air.
\nCompressor Wheel Tips:\u00a0 The outer tips of the inducer on the compressor wheel must enter the bore by at least 1\/8 inch and have a minimum diameter of (varies per division, see below for figure per class)\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/strong>inches.\u00a0 Leading edges, nuts or hubs do not count as tips.
\nMeasurement:\u00a0 A plug with a one-inch center opening and a 30 degree face will verify compliance.\u00a0 The plug must fit the bore and avoid contact with compressor blades.
\n95 LPS – 4.0 inches
\n85 LPS – 2.9 inches
\n95 PF – 2.9 inches
\n11 PF – 2.9 inches with slotted turbocharger\/3.5 inches with smooth bore turbocharger<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Box turbocharger for the 6850# Pro Farm class<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\nThe part numbers for the Precision box turbocharger to be used in the 6850# Pro Farm class for the 2025 pulling season are:

\nGeneral rules
\n<\/span>All turbocharged vehicles are required to have a turbocharger containment blanket.\u00a0 On multiple charger vehicles, the containment blanket is only required on the pressure stage (bottom) turbocharger.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

All competitors must show proof of liability insurance on their support\/tow vehicles annually.\u00a0 This will be done at time of certification.<\/span><\/p>\n

Light Modified
\n<\/span><\/strong>Official weights for 2025 will be:\u00a0 Allison weigh 5600 lbs. – Blown automotive engines weigh 6000 lbs. – Turbines weigh 6200 lbs.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\nChange rule #2 on page 18 under EXHAUST SYSTEMS to read:
\n<\/span><\/span><\/span>2.\u00a0 All turbocharged engines must have a star containment ring\/devise installed in the V band area\u00a0PLUS\u00a0<\/strong>two (2) 1\/2″ Grade 5 bolts in horizontal portion of exhaust pipe(s), must be installed in cross pattern 90 degrees to each other, within one (1) inch of each other, as close to turbine exhaust wheel as possible\u00a0OR\u00a0<\/strong>the cross bolts in turbo exhaust housing, installed by turbo manufacturer.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In rule #14 on page 22 under SAFETY, delete “ahead of engine”<\/strong>, rule will now read:

On page 31, rule #25 under SUPER STOCK TRACTORS, delete<\/strong> the last sentence which reads:\u00a0 “Diesel Super Stock and 9500# Limited Pro Stock vehicles may run in the Pro Stock class weighing 10,000 lbs.”<\/span><\/p>\n

On page 38, rule #6 under TWO WHEEL DRIVE TRUCKS, change to read:
\n6.\u00a0 Vehicles have the option of not having front windshield and\/or rear glass installed in their vehicle for safety reasons.\u00a0 Factory tint is acceptable.\u00a0 Stained or smoked glass is not allowed on any windows.\u00a0 Tinted windows that impair track officials view of driver’s compartment is unacceptable.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\nMini Rod front axle skid plates must be in one of the two types listed below:<\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n

  1. Skid plate mounted to center of axle must be a minimum of 10 inches wide with rolled edges both front and rear. Plate must be a minimum of 4 inches in length. Plate must be centered and securely mounted to front axle and \/or frame.OR<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Skid plate mounted inline with each frame rail(on both sides) equal in strength to frame rail material. Skid plate surface to be a minimum of 2 inches wide and 10 inches long with a minimum 2 inch curve when measured from the front most part of rolled edge.Note: Both types must be able to support the weight of the front end when checked with a jack. Maximum ground clearance not to exceed 2 inches with front tired in normal operating position.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Tractor Skid Plate<\/strong><\/span>
    \n Front axle skid plates specs for all tractor classes except 1050# Super Stock, Antique, Classic and Farm Stock divisions.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

    1. Skid plate must be mounted inline with each frame rail and extend from the center of the front axle forward(on both sides) equal in strength to frame reail material. Skid plate surface to be a minimum of 4 inches wide and 12 inches long with minimum 6 inch curve when measured from the front most part of rolled edge.Note: Skid plate must be able to support weight of the front end when checked with a jack.     2. Front axle support to be made of 2.00″ x .095″ chrome moly tubing or 2.00″<\/strong><\/span>
